- Mezzoman - Mezzoman calculates the exact midpoint between two addresses (or zip codes). It then suggests places within that area to meet. Powered by Google Maps and Google Local Search.
- Aardvark Map - is a free map generator allowing users to produce Google Maps in 3 easy steps, then embed their map into a web site. Users can plot their own markers by clicking the map, postal code geocoding or direct co-ordinates entry. They can also add optional extra content overlays which automatically plot additional markers such as nearby hotels or attractions.
- GeoLogX Locative visitor log by Arclight - Maps the location of visitors to the website. The PHP source code is available under the LGPL open source licence.
- Click2Map - is an editor for building visually your Google Maps. No programming is required. It also adds a lot new cool features to your maps.
- ClusterMarker is a marker manager for use with the Google Maps API. It performs clustering on-the-fly to prevent your markers' icons from intersecting with each other.

- Geochat by Hans. A Google Maps application that allows users to add their own points-of-interest which get stored in a database. This is a nice example of how Google Maps technology can be used for collaborative efforts. Uses PHP/MySQL.
- Geocode Argentina - Geocode an Argentine address or geographical information using PHP and XML.
- gmapLandArea - Mod of the gmapPedometer code, with ability to close a loop and calculate land area.
- gmapPedometer by Paul - Calculate the distance between any two points on the google maps. Very helpful for calculating your last jog's distance.
- This Google Maps mashup creation tool allows you to perform head-up digitizing on Google maps background images. Code snippets in KML, SVG, Google Maps, and Google Static map are interactively generated while you work. Digitized graphics can be tagged with textual attributes and SVG animation effects. - Google Maps API Tilenames - is a simple map i've put together that has an additional tile layer. The additional layer is composed of dynamically generated transparent GIF tiles labelling the map with the tilename of each part of the grid at all zoom levels.
- Google Maps JSP Taglibrary by Tom Cole. Complete JSP tag library allows JSP developers to add Google Maps to their websites without javascript or AJAX programming, and without needing to learn the API. Includes utilities for geocoding addresses, advanced overlays (like circles, boxes and polygons), mousewheel support for zooming and server-side callback event processing for database storage and more. Integrates with JSTL for database driven maps.
- Google Map Maker by Richard Stephenson. A really simple tool to build Google map code to add to your website without geocoding locations. Find your locations then add your markers to the map. The Map Maker generates the HTML and JavaScript to add to your website.
- Driving Directions and Google Maps by Serge d'Adesky. This is intended for the non-programmer. Just fill out a form and get a google map for your web site that plots your business location , and allows users to easily obtain driving directions to it. Get your private google key, fill out the form, copy and paste and you're good to go.
- GP GeoForum by evilC. A PHP "GeoForum" - An application to allow users to share point information. Users may create points, categorise them, comment on them, plus many more features planned. - GPX Viewer by Poco - A Javascript library for reading GPS data GPX files and displaying them in a Google Map.
