From Google Mapki

Some images available in www.google.com/mapfiles/ and www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/mapfiles/. In previous versions of the API all the images were in www.google.com/mapfiles/, but now most of the API reads most of the images from the new location. At present, they all seem to be available in both locations.
